Guren's Momentum

GAAH! All the things that I love are in this wallpaper~ <3

A 1280 by 800 wallpaper I made out of a Guren Nishiki vector (copyright chenovski@animepaper.net -- SCAN: [link])

The multicolored background of the Guren was made by me (^v^) I used multiple screenshots from Code Geass R2 (Guren S.E.I.T.E.N.'s Fukushahado blasts and debris from episodes 23-24 of R2) that I accidentally deleted from my PC and whose layers in the PSD are too watered-down by the edits therefore there's close to no point in posting them [link is unavailable].

Other edits were done in Adobe Photoshop CS4 [yes! some progress! 'twas given to me by my C'roll buddy AZNXIII] -- my favorite gradient overlay [laser], bevel&emboss, and other miscellaneous typography edits. Fonts copyright Adobe Inc. (Trajan Pro") and Microsoft ("Batik Regular").

~ English translation: Crimson Lotus. My favorite mech character E V E R. There are a total of 3 development stages of the Guren:
1) Guren Nishiki Mk II [which is the unit featured in this piece]
2) Guren Kashoushiki

~ 'Guren Dances' is the 10th episode of the first season, where the Guren makes it's debut as the ace of the Order of the Black Knights. I thought it quite an appropriate incorporation to the title in the sense that I, too, want to give the Guren it's debut (into the Mech Hall of Fame xD). Plus I'm a restless person - I dance anytime, anywhere (but mind you, it's NOT a pretty sight xD).

~ The Mech.A genre is jam-packed with action. This was just a spur-of-the-moment (though undeniably highly fitting) word to encapsulate both it's epic nature and roots in Physics/Engineering (another one of those hints to my passions).
